Personally, I find volcanos as the most amazing natural wonders in Earth, and that is why I will choose one of the best well-known volcanos in my country. That is to say, Teide volcano. This natural wonder is located in the Canary Islands, another natural wonder, at least for me.
This islands belong to Spain, however, they are closer to Africa than to Europe. Anyway, continents are not the matter today. Thus, coming back to the subject matter, the Teide is the highest volcano in Spain. It is in Tenerife, one of the islans which compose the Canary archipielago.

Situated on the island of Tenerife, Teide National Park features the Teide-Pico Viejo stratovolcano that, at 3,718 m, is the highest peak on Spanish soil. Rising 7,500 m above the ocean floor, it is regarded as the world’s third-tallest volcanic structure and stands in a spectacular environment. The visual impact of the site is all the greater due to atmospheric conditions that create constantly changing textures and tones in the landscape and a ‘sea of clouds’ that forms a visually impressive backdrop to the mountain. Added to the above-mentioned visual impact, it is also essential to point out that this volcano is surrounded by an amazing lunar landscape which visually atracts everybody. It has a large amount of rocks extended in an incredibly huge area which makes it to look like if one were in the moon. It is completely surprising.
Of course, it is worth going to visit it!
Finally, I must say that this week I have forced myself to watch the series I usually watch in Spanish, in English this time. It is an attractive and entertained way of practising my listening skills so I will try to do it everyday, although sometimes, when I am tired it results in a quite demanding activity. However, I will do my best, I promise!
